Luke Bryan tickets!

Tickets to see Luke Bryan in Bangor were three dollars, and many UNE students jumped on the once in a life time chance two weeks ago!

How often does anyone find cheap tickets for any event these days?  For any professional sporting event in New England, tickets can go from $60-$250.  For concerts, one would see many of the same prices.  New England is quite the hot spot for bands to come do live shows.  The fans are loud and they love all kinds of music.  With the popularity of going to see a live show quickly rising ticket prices are rising as well.  For the same concert in Connecticut or Massachusetts, any Luke Bryan fan was paying upwards of $50 just for a lawn ticket.  For any upcoming Luke Bryan concerts, tickets are starting at $65.

On a Thursday night, twitter and Facebook were buzzing with many status updates saying "Luke Bryan Tickets for $3.00, is this real life?" and "Just got Luke tickets for cheaper then dinner at McDonalds!"  These tickets were at record breaking prices for concert goers in the state of Maine. As to why these tickets were so dirt cheap, no one really knows the answer.  However, this was a great opportunity for many UNE students to go see the country entertainer of the year, Luke Bryan.  It is hard to say whether ticket prices will ever be this low again.  Music fans everywhere will just have to keep an eye out for those low prices.
